Cosmetic Surgeon: About Dr Leow Aik Ming
Dr.Leow Aik Ming is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has sub-specialized training in the field of craniomaxillofacial surgery. He has been involved in the reconstructive treatment for many complex craniofacial deformities resulting from birth, trauma or post-tumor surgery.
His experiences include microsurgical reconstruction, cleft and craniofacial surgery, orthognathic surgery (conventional and non conventional (surgery-first) techniques), cranioplasty, ear reconstruction and many types of facial aesthetic surgeries (blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, facelift, forehead lift, facial contouring and etc). Other interests include body contouring surgeries, l breast surgeries and liposuction.
Dr. Leow holds several prominent positions universities and hospitals. He is also an appointed honorary lecturer for the under-graduate trainees in dental surgery and post-graduate trainees in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Hospital University Sains Malaysia, Kubang Kerian, Kelantan. He is actively involved in research and publications. He frequently features as an invited speaker in several national and international conferences in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as craniofacial surgery.
